We do not — and here’s why.
At The Listening NP, we believe your care should be guided by your needs, not by an insurance company’s limitations. By remaining independent, we have the freedom to spend more time with you, listen closely to your concerns, and design treatment plans that are creative, personalized, and focused on long-term wellness — not just what a policy covers.
There are also benefits for you:
No red tape — care decisions are made by you and your provider, not a third party
More time together — longer visits and direct communication
Transparent pricing — simple membership options without surprise bills
Some insurance companies may reimburse a portion of out-of-network services, and we’re happy to provide a superbill (itemized receipt) if you’d like to submit for reimbursement. If you have an HSA or FSA account, you may also be able to use those funds for your care.ption text goes here

At The Listening NP, we believe your story deserves time and attention. That’s why appointments are never rushed. Depending on your needs, visits may be as brief as 15 minutes for focused follow-ups or as long as 60 minutes when a deeper conversation is needed.
After the brief 15 minute exploration call, your initial appointment is always scheduled for 60 minutes. During this visit, we will:
Review your lab results and a detailed medical history
Take baseline vital signs (such as blood pressure and heart rate)
Discuss your symptoms, expectations, and long-term goals
Consider whether any additional, non-invasive testing is needed
Create a personalized plan for follow-up and ongoing care
Our goal is simple: to understand your full picture of health and partner with you in creating a plan that is safe, sustainable, and designed for the life you want to live.iption text goes here

A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with graduate-level training, national certification, and state licensing. NPs are qualified to assess, diagnose, and prescribe medications, providing much of the same care as physicians.
Some NPs, like Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs), are trained to care for patients across the lifespan with a broad foundation in general medicine. Others pursue additional certifications in specialty areas, such as psychiatry and mental health.
What makes the NP role unique is its foundation in nursing values — bringing bedside experience, whole-person perspective, and a focus on compassion into advanced clinical practice.
At The Listening NP, your care is guided by Greg Norris, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, a dual-certified nurse practitioner with over 20 years of neuroscience nursing experience, including 12 years as a family nurse practitioner. This background means you’ll receive care that not only addresses your labs and prescriptions, but also considers the broader picture of your health, your symptoms, and your quality of life.

Do you offer Telehealth appointments?
Yes! At The Listening NP, I do enjoy seeing patients in person. However, telehealth appointments are offered through secure connections. This allows you to connect from the comfort of your home or office, without the stress of travel or taking extra time away from work and family.
We know that many of our patients live busy lives or may have mobility, health, or safety concerns.
